THREE NOT AT ALL IMPORTANT THINGS:

The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend soundtrack has kind of been saving my sanity these last two weeks. There were a couple times at work where I just lost all motivation and wanted to close my office door and lie down on the floor until 4:00. But then you listen to a song called Heavy Boobs and you have to kind of giggle and feel better, so then I wouldn’t have to close my door and invite more questions from my nosy-as-shit coworker.

And if you haven’t watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend yet you need to. It’s on Netflix and Hulu. Watch it. I’ll wait until you’re finished.

I follow like three news pages from Humboldt on Facebook now, and yesterday I saw something about an attempted bank robbery that was stopped by customers, who tackled and cornered the guy. As a former teller, I was like, “OH FUCK YES, YOU GO.”

Then TODAY my mom texted me with “Guess who the woman who chased and tackled the robber was. Hint – we go to her house the Friday after thanksgiving.” And, lol, that woman was my former Camp Fire leader, and also the person I would go to if I ever needed to put a hit out on somebody, which is convenient. She’s like 5’1” and tiny and a TOTAL FUCKING BADASS. I wasn't even surprised. My reaction was basically, "oh, yeah, of course, out of the ~140k people who live in Humboldt County, KAREN would be the ballsiest. That sounds like an accurate ranking."

So yeah, that’s right, that BAMF taught me how to craft.
