also i started drinking at the beginning of this comment because it's the fucking weekend, so things are going to get progressively less serious.
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
Definitely the day Lee was born. His relationship with his ex was pretty much at its breaking point then, but Lee was something pure and sweet that (he HOPED, maybe kind of) could save the relationship. And, if he couldn't fix his relationship, then he had someone he could give all of his love to. Also, coming from a massive family, he expected to have at least four or five kids, so he kind of thought, "COOL, THIS IS THE START OF THE FAMILY LIFE. cannot wait for this to all go incredibly well, my life is about to be crazy awesome."

ALL ALLY ALL THE TIME pt 1
Ally toward his parents:
The Maddock parents towards Ally:
Ally loves his parents, and he thinks he should be the center of their attention. And the Maddock parents were great parents! Though always like, “oh god, every summer they come home and THEY’RE STILL FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER” re: he and his sister. BUT, there has always been a kind of forced disconnect, since they’re Muggles and he’s off in magic land, playing a magic sport, and he can’t share everything with them. If something happens (like when Marcas died), he’s going to turn to his sister first, because he doesn’t have to explain all these magic things to her, and she can have more constructive advice.
2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
He’s just a fucking GIANT IS ALL.
3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?
Dude you know he has so many fucking scars. He has a scar on the back of his head, which is really only mostly noticeable if he has really short hair, or if you feel like digging through his mop of hair to make sure it’s really there. It’s from a stupid fight with Maddy when they were like 5 and 9 and she pushed him off a jungle gym. And even though he totally started it, she got in trouble because he started bleeding a lot and crying and acting all dramatic about it, the little shit.
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
On a scale of 1-10, he’s like a 5. He plays it up like he’s super confident, all charming and flirty and shit, but he’s gangly as fuck and he slouches and he thinks he’s kind of weird looking and he’s kind of self conscious about it.
5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?
He’s like a 1. Pretty much almost completely straight, but, hey, never say never. What if he meets the most charming motherfucker on the planet, huh?
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
The first time he scored a goal in a professional match. It was in his first year on the team, a little ways into the season, and it was a really long game so the entire Chaser team was B squad and they’d practiced together a bunch so he was feeling preeeetty on fire. He got the Quaffle right before hitting the goal line, and he didn’t have time to overthink anything before just slamming the Quaffle into the center goal. And Ally was STOKED AF, YOU GUYS, THAT WAS AWESOME.
7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
Proooobably his buddy dying right before his birthday. That was a pretty shitty thing.

Ice cream flavor: Chocolate chip cookie dough.
Color: Orange.
Song: Big Balls - AC/DC. He thinks it’s funny as fuck.
Flower: Daisy.

Maddy, his parents, Meaghan, probably most of his teammates. Ally trusts a lot of people. He doesn’t really know yet that there are some people he should mistrust.
10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.
Umm, he hasn’t had many MAJOR huge turning points, but I guess they would be…
- when he made it onto the Gryffindor Quidditch team second year, because that made him realize he was officially awesome. He was a straight white boy who was good at sports, his life was gonna be grrrreat.
- when he broke his back, because what 20-year-old boy thinks he’s actually capable of being hurt? And suddenly he realized OH GOD, I’M CAPABLE OF BEING HURT, maybe I should be afraid sometimes?
- when Marcas died, because hang on, they were nonpolitical Quidditchers, how the hell were they getting wrapped up in the war? And also, holy shit, they were mortal? but oh god no when you’re like 21 you’re supposed to be fucking immortal oh shit.

He’s young enough that he’s super hip to whatever cool new technology is hitting the markets now. But being a wizard, he’s going to be kinda behind the times overall, so he’s probably just super advanced for magic land.
13.) What does your character’s bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?
Sheets tangled around one leg, the other leg like three-quarters of the way off the bed, face down in a pillow that he’s probably squeezing like it’s a teddy bear. And he’s drooling on it.
14.) How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?
He complains so much. Like, with heat he’ll bitch and moan and dump water on his head constantly. With cold he’ll put on like 80 layers of clothing, or shiver and whine.
15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?
He’s kind of both. He’s one of those annoying fucks who wakes up at like 5 AM to go for a run, and then he comes home, crashes back out until he has to be somewhere, then stays up crazy late because that’s when THE FUN STUFF HAPPENS.
16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, etc. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?
Nah, he’s mostly really close with Maddy and his parents. Since everyone but Maddy is a Muggle, he has to have this whole separate life story when dealing with the distant relatives, and he’s just like, fine, whatever, we’ll just talk about sports at family reunions and end up having a huge argument about football teams. And he would totally tell people Meaghan was LIKE a sister to him, but he wouldn’t actually list her as a sister or anything. Basically just a SUPES CLOSE BUDDYFRIEND.
17.) What’s your character’s desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?
I will interpret this as his gym bag or locker, and they are both a fucking mess. He doesn’t wash things until someone yells at him about it, he hucks shit in his bag or his locker and lets them get all piled up. If he steps in dog shit, he’ll probably have it on his uniform the next day and be like, “Why does this smell like shit? SO WEIRD.”
18.) Is your character a good cook? What’s their favorite recipe, whether they’re good or not?
HE IS A GREAT COOK. He and Maddy are both work a little kitchen magic, but their philosophies are completely different. Maddy’s all, “GOTTA DO THE COOKING BY THE BOOK!” and Ally’s like, “OR JUST THROW ALL THE TASTY THINGS IN A POT AND MAKE IT BETTER!” He makes a badass mac & cheese with hot dogs, bacon, bread crumbs, broccoli (to make it HEALTHY) and just...other ridiculously indulgent stuff. Feta cheese and shit.
19.) What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?
He likes to drive, which isn’t super feasible when you’re magic and have to travel all over the country to see people and go to work and shit. But his dad is a bus driver, and teaching him to drive was something they could ~bond~ over, and Ally was a teenager and wanted a male role model and a relationship with his parents even though he only got to see them a few months out of the year.
20.) Does your character have any irrational fears?
Ummmm I don’t know actually? He’s somewhat superstitious, but that’s not really a fear. I think he should really be more afraid of things.

He would TOTALLY get a Quidditch tattoo. Not one for his specific team, because he knows that shit can change at a moment’s notice if you’re not careful (HE ALREADY KNOWS HE’S GOING TO GET KICKED OFF A TEAM IN THE FUTURE), but something stupid and generic. Like this (”http://i.imgur.com/zEN3s8q.png”) tattoo that I just slapped together in photoshop and I kind of love it.
22.) If your character could time travel, where would they go?
The distant future. The year 2000.
23.) Is your character superstitious?
Don’t most athletes? Like, he wears the same socks and goggles every game, he’s convinced that he shoots the best when he tosses it from his right hand to his left hand and back to his right hand before shooting, and he names all of his brooms because otherwise they don’t feel like they’re his and he can’t build a RELATIONSHIP with them.
24.) What might your character’s ideal romantic partner be?
Someone spontaneous, who’s down for an adventure just when the fuck ever. As long as those adventures sometimes include having a day of curling up in bed all day and watching shitty TV.
25.) Describe your character’s hands. Are they small, long, calloused, smooth, stubby?
He has massive hands, and his fingers are super long. He can grip like a basketball or a football with one hand. His nails are dirty, probably at least one of them has a big, black bruise under it. His hands are mostly kind of roughed up, though do Quidditch players wear any kind of hand gear when they play? Like gloves or something? Idk, but considering how much shit he does with his hands, they’re kind of scuffed up and callousy.
26.) Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food, favorite vice, favorite outfit, favorite hot drink, favorite time of year, and favorite holiday.
COMFORT FOOD: Something big and starchy and heavy, like mashed potatoes and gravy.
VICE: Drinking, I guess? He doesn’t smoke or do drugs because he’s a good little boy.
OUTFIT: He totally has a jersey from his favorite football player (which idk bc idksports) that he wears ALL THE TIME. And then just. Jeans. I guess.
HOT DRINK: Hot chocolate. Because it’s adorable.
TIME OF YEAR: Spring. If it rains, it’s usually light enough that he can still fuck around on brooms, and if it’s nice it’s usually not too hot out to do something outside.
HOLIDAY: His birthday. That totally counts as a holiday. He fucking loves that he shares a birthday with Maddy, and they have a shindig together, and the parties always end in some knockdown, drag out fight between he and Maddy and it’s just the most fun fucking ever.

Alfie - Lily Allen - I JUST LOVE HIM BEING THE SHITTY LITTLE BROTHER. I think aside from the being stoned as shit part (Ally is a V SERIOUS ATHLETE and does not do drugs mmk), this is basically Ally just annoying the shit out of Maddy rn. Since he just decided to crash in the room he claimed as his own in her place with the dog he just randomly got.

I guess just. Like. Sports fiction? Mainstream fiction? Magical realism because magic is really mostly an incidental part of his life?

Depends on the time of day. When he shows up to practice he already smells like sweat and body odor, and he’s a gross boy. Afterwards he showers and sprays on too much deodorant, and for like at least an hour he overwhelms you with his smell. And if he’s going ~out on the town~ he also spritzes on some new douchey smelling aftershave, and I’m sure everyone makes fun of him for it.

DOGEY 3
There's a long scar on the back of his right elbow from a dueling incident right out of school. While he was taking his gap year (WITHOUT bff Dumbles, sadface), he got into some incredibly stupid, drunken argument in Greece and ended up dueling in some alley at 2 AM. He and the other guy both got some good hits in before they forgot exactly why they were fighting and went back to drinking.

He got in this biiig old fight with his brother, shortly before his brother moved to France and disappeared (and potentially faked his death). Dogey feels like 75% sure that Bert wouldn't have gone through with his stupid plan if he hadn't been trying to push him to do something RESPONSIBLE and not just run away from his gambling debts. He would like to just erase that, try again, know for sure if his brother is alive or dead or still gambling away all his money.

Kirley is VERY CONSCIOUS of how he looks, and he does not find himself attractive. He’s honestly probably the most self-conscious of all my characters, and it completely centered around his weight. He vacillates between knowing he’s too skinny, and thinking he can probably push it a little further. Kirley is a v sick boy. :(

HE HAS A LOT. HE HAS SO MANY. There’s a curse scar on his left knee from some big expensive fight scene. He should have gone to the hospital right afterwards to get it looked at and fixed up rl quick, but Cash was just fucking drained, and went, “Fuck it, I’m not dying and I have to go write up a report, I’m not going to Mungo’s rn.” And then he never went. And now Cash has a bum knee, because he is a dumb.
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
The day he qualified as a full Auror, holy crap. He’d been studying and training and gearing up for this for SO LONG he thought he was never going to get out and get to be a proper badass. His older brothers took him out for drinks, and if you think three Proudfeet aren’t going to shut down every fucking bar in town, YOU’RE NOT READING THE RIGHT PROUDFEET. Patrick kept yelling at people that his brother was gonna arrest them if they didn’t stop acting like a fucking cunt, and Brody got tackled like a dozen times, always with a full drink in his hand, and basically they were acting like stupid boys all night.

FUCKING NOBODY.
Like, his mother, probably. He used to trust more people, but one of those people was Moody, and LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENED. And sure, you could say he trusts Kirsty and Maddy and maybe his brothers and other people in the DMLE, but now he’s supes cynical, so if it turned out one of his bestie friends was breakin’ the law, breakin’ the law, he’d just be like, “yeah, fucking figures. Never trusted them anyways.”

THIS WAS INCREDIBLY HARD, BTW, because 1) Kirley is a fucking punk poser and, even though I know he loves Bowie, he would lie about what his favorite song is and act like it’s something SUPER AND PROPER PUNK OK, and 2) music is his entire fucking life, and trying to pick out the ONE song that he likes the most out of everything is like trying to pick a favorite child.

He would probably just live in the 70s forever. Or he would go forward in time to find out how all of his personal heroes die, and then go back in time to WARN THEM. Like. He would tell Joe Strummer to get his heart checked. And tell George Harrison to maybe lock his doors and windows.
