JUNIOR FISHY FAMILY FUN

The end of the school year is coming up fast! Mom and Dad Juniorfin want to spend some quality time with their roommates before they all become Seniorfins. After the (hopefully exciting) Quidditch game (where someone might have died), the fish slip off to the Atrium, and pretend that no one has maybe died. They’re going to sit and have a very tame night to counteract all that excitement.

The fishies are told to just eat the healthy part of their dinner and then head to the Atrium for their mandatory fun, and for the unhealthy part of their dinner. Chloe donated some board game and movie options, so grab a game, diplomatically decide on a movie, and settle in.

If you’re concerned about anything going on in your life, worried about the future, embarrassed about something that happened while your memory played some tricks on you, Mom and Dad’s Counseling Corner is open for business. They are also available for discussions of the cosmos, if that’s what you’re into.

Demon summoning might also happen. But only a small demon.

As they're settling in for some fun, [VOLUNTEER]* passes by the couch and decides to join the party. The ever-diplomatic fish figure it's just not worth it to put up a fuss and let [VOLUNTEER] be an honorary Ribbonfin junior for the night!

* Preferably played by someone who doesn't play a juniorfin!

This is a cute, casual little IC/OOC to get some junior fishy bonding in without worrying about all those competitions and talking to non-Ribbonfins. (Maybe they can also use this as a chance to see if anyone wants to discuss something with their prefects? ~hopes, dreams, feelings, freaking out about not having a senior project yet, etc?~

Open to junior Ribbonfins: Avery Davenport, Marilyn Fairchild, Ursula de Luca, Chloe Shepherd, Rosemary Stoker, Ferdinand Ayers, Matteo Diaz, Ennis Harper, Kurt Wolfhart, and [VOLUNTEER]. But this is Ribbonfin, and they’ve already allowed [VOLUNTEER] to stay, so something tells me they’ll tolerate a drive-by or two.

This is going on from ~6:00 to 9:00 PM. Yes, this overlaps with dinner. Just eat half your dinner and then come have unhealthy snacks instead.

» HANGING OUT: You don’t have to play games, you can talk about your hopes and dreams and also possibly just your homework. Ferdie will be on a couch for a lot of this, if you would like to talk. The doctor is in, and will not be a smartass at you.

» GAMES: Play some games! Have some fun! The prefects brought along a handful of board games you can grab, or you can play a Safe For Ribbonfin party game. If you want to play a particular game with the whole group, post a subheading for it and we’ll gather ‘round. (But remember, Rosy cheats at Monopoly.)

» MOVIE: They are watching [MOVIE OF CHOICE], and mocking is welcome. In fact, it’s been said that mocking as a family is a tried and true bonding technique.

» MARSHMALLOW POKER: There’s a deck of cards in the mix of the board games, and a selection of colored marshmallows. Fate and savvy fish combine these to create a high-stakes poker game using the marshmallows as different-colored chips. It’s probably not really gambling if you can eat the evidence.
