I decided to change this meme up for books. Because I am a raging nerd, and I'm curious to see to what extent people know movies better than books. ;D

1. Pick 15 of your favourite books.
2. Go to SparkNotes/Literary Quotations/whereverthehellyouwant and find a quote from each book.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Fill in the book title once it's guessed.
5. NO GOOGLING / whatever other way you can think to cheat. Fools.

And when there was a series, I just chose one of the books. Like that doesn't give anything away.

13. UM...The Godfather? Was there a "Fredo" in that? The NEVER BETRAY THE FAMILY theme would fit into it.

Also, #13 sounds like that part in The Royal Tenenbaums. "You're my brother. I love you." "STOP SAYING THAT."

YAY CORRECT THREE TIMES OVER. Fredo was the middle brother in The Godfather, and he was kind of the weaker one that they all just sort of shoved out of the way.

AND I DUNNO IF YOU'VE READ 7 AND 10, BUT THEY ARE THINGS YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE READ.

I totally think 14 is Gone With the Wind. And I hope I'm right because if I'm wrong hell if I know anything else. Though 1 sounds really familiar.

I was hoping you'd get that one, because I don't know how many other people have read GWTW. NOW IMA GO MAKE HES INTO SCARLETT O'HARA WITH HER EYES THE COLOUR OF SHIMMERING...PONDS.

And I know I should know a bunch of the others (I'm pretty sure 8 is JKR, I remember the "disobliging habit of speeding up" part, but hell if I know what book), but alas!

Book quotes are hard to remember!

Also, #1 is kind of one of the funniest books ever, so if you haven't read it, you should.

YAY. And I totally didn't even realize that the only ones I could really guess were plays, and so probably the only reason I remember quotes are because I remember performances/movies more. XD

I HAVEN'T READ #10, NOW THAT I SEE WHAT IT IS. Seven still sounds really familiar. And is #1 a Terry Pratchett novel? MAYBE?

It's not a Terry Pratchett novel, but I can see why you'd think that! And 7 is reeeeally good, but yeah, I don't know if you've read it or not 'cause we've never discussed it.
